Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
March 10th 2020
I've been on the hunt for the perfect (for me) foundation for years. I've found some that were decent and even some that I thought were near perfect or at least I thought that, until I tried this for the first time. the price tag scared me off, so when a friend bought this for me as a gift (she works for the company that distributes the Armani beauty line), I couldn't wait to try it. it's everything it claims to be and more. It is very lightweight, almost having a watery feel to it. that made me nervous as I have imperfections I struggle to cover (And still look natural). don't let the consistency of it fool you, it's buildable. It takes me only 2 pumps to build to full coverage but the amazing thing is it looks natural, like a second glowing skin! It doesn't cake or patch up. It is the easiest foundation I've ever applied with my beauty blender. And it truly lasts all day. And if you have oily skin (like me) and worry about the "luminous" part of it, dont! it's the only foundation that I've tried that is able to give a healthy, pretty glow without it ever looking oily or just gross. All in all, I will gladly pay the hefty price tag for this foundation over and over again. it's that good! just a warning: the shade depicted in the product picture (of it in the bottle) appears darker in my opinion than it actually is. I wear 1W2 Sand in Estee Lauder and 2.5 in UD All Nighter and got shade 4 in this. It's perfect for my fall/winter tone but for summer I will shade up 1-2 spots.
