Like most beauty enthusiasts I have a slight addiction in buying eyeshadows palettes, even though I have recently started to wear quite minimal makeup when it comes to eye makeup I love to play with colour. Urban Decay isthe perfect brand when it comes to choosing the right eyeshadow palettestheir Naked range has a wide range of colours suitable for everyone. However, when I travel I tend to take two or three palettes with me depending on the look I want to create and colours, so when I find just one palette that can give me absolutely everything then it's a winner. The Born To Run palette is something completelydifferent to what we normally see from Urban Decay, with 21 shades this palette has everything to create numerous looks from natural to full-on glam. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this, there's something about a wide range of colours and textures in a palette that I love! With a collection of matte, shimmer and foiled shadows, every look is covered all in one kit. My favourites at the moment are ACCELERATE a reddish copper metallic, WILDHEARTa lovely bright fuchsia and BAJA the perfect burnt orange. I've had this palette for just over a week now and I'm really impressed with the pigmentation and formulaof the shadows, they're all very velvety and easy to blend perfect for anyone who likes to use numerous shades in their eye looks. When you put your brush to the pan you do get a little fallout but that stops there, I didn't find any fall outwhen applied. The choice of colours are also really nice, it's rare for one palette to have a mixture of both warm and cold tones and such a variety of colours. Personally, I really like is element to the palette, it fits really well with the globe-trotting theme, you can play aroundwith the shades depending on your location. However, when you first look at the palette the choice of colours and the tones could seem quite daunting for someone who isn't that confident with colour. After playing around with different looks the palette is really easy to use and it very diverse. I also love the fact that because you have a wide colour palette you can easily transition from summer to winter and still only have one palette. What really surprisedme with this palette is the actual packaging, it's really unique to what we normally see from Urban Decay, it's lovely and sleek and has the perfect sized mirror inside. Again every element has been thoroughly looked at regarding the travel theme. So is it worth the cost? At £39.50 it's quite steep for some, however, it's still within the price range you normally see for eyeshadows right now. Personally, I would definitely pay that money for this palette, as you're getting 21 quality shadows and a lovely sized mirror.I think if you love something that takes you from day-to-night and can able to you to create so many different looks then this is the palette for you! It's definitely going to be your travel go-to palette this summer.
