This was probably one of the first high-end foundations I've tried yeaaars ago. I remember re-purchasing it at least once or twice before deciding to try out different foundations. I have very fair, normal to combination and acne prone skin. I get somewhat oily on my nose throughout the day, but my biggest problem area is around my mouth and chin. I've tried so many foundations that look fine all around, but break up or crack around my mouth and chin and accentuate my laugh lines. The only one I've tried recently that somewhat keeps it at bay is the Too Faced Born This Way foundation but no matter how little product I use around my laugh lines, they still peek through. I'd have to constantly blend out throughout the day. Not remembering how I thought about the Double Wear, I stopped by a Sephora and picked up a sample to test out. Honestly, I don't know why I had parted ways with this foundation....it is literally doing everything I need it too. And laugh lines who? I still use very little product in that area as too much product can move into the lines, but I've had it on for 7 hours and it looks exactly the same way as when I put it on. Zero breakage on my chin; Zero cracking around my mouth and my laugh lines are looking better than ever (very very very minor lines peeking through). I used a Beauty Blender to apply, Tarte Shape Tape Concealer, and Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder - things I use in my everyday face routine (including blush, bronzer, etc.). Everything still looks amazing and I honestly can't believe I stopped using this. Definitely back on that Double Wear hype train. If you are skeptical about splurging on a foundation, get yourself a sample of this and test it for a day or two. Trust me, you'll be coming back for more!
